It may not seem like a lot to you but waking up to Medium allowing writers to promote tips is a huge step in comparison to other writing platforms. Tips are really important as writers because we all want to gain a little extra for being good at what we do. The algorithm is doing better, and I did receive my $2.00 last month (not quite $2.50, but I’ll take this)— thank you Medium for supporting me and giving me small reasons to stay.
I would go on about the optimizations of tips, but I won’t spend this article doing that — instead, to show my appreciation, I’ll break down how I’ve decided to divide up my tiers for tips on Patreon, if you would like to support me I would highly appreciate it.
