Nobody is reading my work, should I quit while I’m ahead.

Who is my audience? What am I doing?

Accountability, accountability, accountability.

I’ve been writing and publishing my articles all wrong. Nobody has been reading my work because nobody knows that my work exists. First and foremost, I’ve been coming to Medium for all of the wrong reasons.

Wrong Reasons

  1. I want $5,000 monthly from articles
  2. I want to build my Kindle audience
  3. I just want my work to be found on Google

These three bad, bad, bad reasons are what’s stopping me from actually paying attention to my authentic and genuine relationship with articles and people on this platform. There are so many articles in my algorithm that talk about how to make money fast on Medium that I lose sight of what I want to write before I even get to start a new story. (No offense to the thousands of writers on Medium who love publishing those articles on fast cash) There is different content in this world that I’m more interested in reading, one article that I stumbled across being about André Talley.
